The Twins Respond to the Controversy Over the Exclusion of Mostafa Mohamed

Ibrahim Hassan commented in media statements regarding comparisons with cases in other teams: "Excluding Mostafa Mohamed? The England coach excluded Phil Foden, was it due to personal issues between them? We and Hossam never thought of being unfair to any player, we work with conscience, and no player can be upset about not being called up."

For his part, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, Hossam Hassan, emphasized that selection decisions are not subject to any pressures, saying: "Excluding Mostafa Mohamed? No one questions a foreign coach about the reasons for including players, consider me a foreigner," indicating the independence of his technical decisions.
