Inter Continues Pressure to Sign Curtis Jones

Negotiations between Inter Milan and Liverpool regarding English midfielder Curtis Jones are still ongoing, but the financial gap between the two parties continues to hinder the completion of the deal.

According to English and Italian reports, the recent meeting between the two clubs did not result in a final agreement, as Inter offered 20 million euros, while Liverpool insists on receiving 30 million euros plus a percentage of future resale.

Sources indicated that Inter considers Jones an important target to strengthen the midfield this summer, especially with the management and coaching staff convinced of his technical abilities and potential to develop in the Italian league.

On the other hand, Liverpool is not keen to let go of the player easily, despite being open to considering suitable offers, especially since Curtis Jones is a homegrown talent with good experience in the Premier League and European competitions.

The reports also confirmed that the player is open to the idea of trying a new experience outside of England, while Inter continues to work on finding a formula to bring the parties closer, either by increasing the offer or adding bonuses and variables to the deal.
