Hazem Emam Comments on the Possibility of Mortada Mansour Returning to Zamalek Presidency
Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, commented on the possibility of Mortada Mansour returning to the presidency of the White Club.
Hazem Emam said during his interview on the program "Our Stadium," broadcast on the "Al-Mashhad" platform: "Is Mortada Mansour, if he returns, capable of saving Zamalek? Once someone leaves, it's hard for them to come back again."
He added: "When Mortada Mansour was the president of Zamalek, he did many good things and won many championships with us. However, there were also many issues due to the dues of former players and coaches."
He continued: "These problems have persisted since Mortada Mansour. Hussein Labib faced the same issues, and the club is in debt. The crisis continues."
Regarding Mortada Mansour paying 200 million pounds during his tenure as president of Zamalek, he said: "I don't have to pay money to be the president of Zamalek Club. Thanks to those who pay money, like Mamdouh Abbas, who pays money, but Zamalek Club itself should be the one generating the money."
