The Cost of Dismissing Ruben Amorim Costs Manchester United Millions of Pounds

English press reports revealed that Manchester United's management incurred significant financial losses after dismissing Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim and his technical staff last season, with the cost of terminating the contracts amounting to approximately £16.7 million.

According to The Times, the amount included compensation for Amorim and his staff after the management decided to end the experiment following the negative results the team experienced in the English Premier League.

The reports added that the total losses associated with the dismissal have risen to approximately 22 million pounds, after accounting for additional costs related to contracts and some assets within the club, at a time when United is striving to restore technical and administrative stability.

Despite these losses, reports indicated that the club expects a significant improvement in revenue in the coming period, especially after returning to European competitions and signing new sponsorship agreements, which may help offset some of the financial damages incurred in the previous phase.
