Dunga Criticizes the Exclusion of Mostafa Mohamed and Supports Mostafa Shobeir
Tamer Abdel Hamid "Dunga," the former Zamalek star, commented on the exclusion of Mostafa Mohamed from Egypt's national team squad for the World Cup.
Dunga stated in an interview on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program that Hossam Hassan, the national team coach, should have supported Mostafa Mohamed just as he was keen on supporting Mohamed Abdel Moneim despite his limited participation, and as he supported Emam Ashour during his period of declining performance.
The former Zamalek star added that Mostafa Shobeir will be the main goalkeeper for the Egyptian national team in the World Cup, due to his impressive performance recently.
The Egyptian national team will play a friendly match against the Russian national team next Thursday in preparation for the 2026 World Cup competitions.
