Adly Al-Qaei Attacks Former Football Association President
Adly El-Keiy, the former head of the football company at Al Ahly Club, criticized Ahmed Megahed, the former president of the Football Association, due to the latter's statements about the Red Club.
Mujahid defended the referee Mahmoud Wafa, who was involved in the crisis during the match between Al Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra, where the referee did not award a penalty for Al Ahly in the final minutes.
In statements on Al Ahly TV channel, Al-Qeai said: "Ahmed Megahed should work for the benefit of Egyptian football. He denounced and mocked the phrase 'Dawry Wafa' and said that Wafa did not choose Ribeiro and Camões."
He added: "Mujahid's remarks reveal his attitude towards Al Ahly Club, and it's inappropriate to make insinuations, as he is undermining the club's policies."
He continued: "What Mahmoud Wafa committed in the match between Al Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra was a deliberate mistake, and Ahmed Maghahid knows this well."
He continued: "Ahmed Megahed is contributing to obstructing Al Ahly Club's progress, and he is the one who brought in referee Mahmoud Wafa to manage the Ceramica Cleopatra match."
He concluded: "Ahmed Megahed should reassess himself and must succeed for the benefit of Egyptian football. His success should not be tied to personal matters."
