Ahmed Sami, the star of the Pyramids team, spoke about not joining the Egyptian national team recently.
Ahmed Sami said in statements on the "Modern Sport" program on Modern mti: "I don't know why I'm not joining the Egyptian national team. I can't find a reason for my exclusion. In all the recent gatherings, I haven't been included, not even in friendly matches."
He added: "I've been playing as a starter for Pyramids for 5 seasons now, and my performance has been consistent. I work hard and always try to present myself well, so I honestly don't know the main reason."
The Egyptian national team is preparing to face the Russian national team in a friendly match next Thursday in preparation for the 2026 World Cup competitions.
