The "Milan News" website reported that Portuguese player Rafael Leão, a winger for AC Milan, is upset following statements by the club's owner, Gerry Cardinale, who suggested the possibility of the player's departure during the summer transfer window, which clearly angered the player.

According to the same source, Cardinale spoke informally during a meeting in Milan with some representatives of the Italian press and confirmed that Leão is no longer part of the club's future project, which has caused dissatisfaction for the player.

The report indicated that Leão is currently not open to the idea of moving to clubs outside the top five European leagues, despite interest from Turkish clubs like Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, according to "La Gazzetta dello Sport."

The source also clarified that Galatasaray is ready to offer a financial deal of up to 10 million euros annually, but Leão prefers to remain within the major leagues, with his current focus on the World Cup, and his future to be decided afterward.

The 26-year-old player has two years remaining on his contract with Milan, at a time when the club is undergoing extensive restructuring within the technical and administrative management, with only a few names like Zlatan Ibrahimović continuing as part of the new project.
