Rashford Hints at His Desire to Stay with Barcelona

Englishman Marcus Rashford, Barcelona player, confirmed his desire to continue with the Catalan team after the end of the 2025/2026 season, as his loan period is set to end on June 30th.

Rashford posted on his official Instagram account a picture of himself from the Mestalla Stadium, along with a video of his highlights with Barcelona under coach Hans Flick, and wrote: "It has always been a pleasure, season 2025/2026, I want more with Barcelona."

This statement renews the player's desire to remain at Spotify Camp Nou, especially since he performed well this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that Barcelona's management is working on trying to keep Rashford, as there is an agreement with the player, while negotiations with Manchester United remain the main obstacle so far.

The report added that the English club insists on receiving the buyout clause amounting to 30 million euros, considering it a financially suitable deal, without entering into flexible negotiations so far.

The newspaper confirmed that the player's desire will be an important factor in determining his future, especially since he has clearly shown his commitment to staying with Barcelona.

Rashford also stated after the El Clasico match, which secured the league title for Barcelona, saying: "I don't know if I will stay, I'm not a magician, if I were, I would stay, we will see what happens. I came to Barcelona to win, and I want to achieve as many titles as possible, and this is a great team that will achieve a lot in the future, and being part of that would be special, so we will see what happens."
