The Egyptian international and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah appeared in a press statement following the 1-1 draw against Brentford in the 38th and final round of the English Premier League, which was his last match in the Reds' jersey.

Salah said in his speech: "I think I cried more than ever in my life, I am not an emotional person by nature. We spent our youth here, sharing everything from start to finish. We brought this club back to its rightful place. He [Andy Robertson] is loved because he gives his all on the field. That's what makes them love him."

He added: "It's difficult to leave Liverpool. Robertson is a very important player for the team and for the time we spent together. I am truly honored to have played with him in the locker room. He has always been a support for the team. I am very fortunate to have played with him in the locker room."

He continued, "This is life. When I look back, I wonder if I wished for more than I achieved. Not really. We won everything. We see the love of the fans, and that is what matters most to me."

He concluded: "I will be away from here. I will always be affected each time. I hope the team remains in its place and competes for everything."
