Bernardo Silva Bids Farewell to Manchester City with an Emotional Message to Fans
Portuguese Bernardo Silva, captain of Manchester City, spoke after the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in the final round of the Premier League, as he bid farewell to the club following the confirmation of his departure.
Bernardo Silva said, "It's very difficult for me to find words to describe my feelings towards Manchester City and you, the fans, because I don't think I'll ever feel this kind of love again in my life."
He added, "The love I received from this club and from all of you, I doubt I will ever receive again, so thank you very much."
He continued: "All the memories we shared together, with my siblings and the technical staff, this is a family."
And he added: "As Gundogan said, this is a family, and it will always be my family, I am very grateful."
