Chelsea Falls to Sunderland in Premier League Finale

Chelsea ended their Premier League season with a 2-1 loss to Sunderland in the match held at the Stadium of Light as part of the 38th and final round of the competition.

Sunderland entered the match strongly and succeeded in opening the scoring in the 25th minute through Trai Hume, benefiting from their early pressure and good defensive and offensive organization, before extending their lead with a second goal in the 50th minute, which came from an own goal by Chelsea player Malo Gusto.

In the second half, Chelsea attempted to get back into the match and managed to reduce the deficit in the 57th minute through Cole Palmer, who revived hope for his team. However, things became more difficult when the London team had to continue with ten players after Fofana was sent off in the 62nd minute.

Despite Chelsea's attempts in the final minutes to come back in the match, Sunderland managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle, securing the victory and concluding their season with an important win.

With this result, Chelsea's tally froze at 52 points in tenth place, while Sunderland raised its tally to 54 points in seventh place.
