The Uruguayan star Federico Valverde is preparing to appear again with Real Madrid in the match against Athletic Bilbao, after overcoming the recent issue he had with his French teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni within the team.

The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that Valverde sustained a head injury during the altercation between the players, which required him to undergo treatment and rest due to a concussion, before he later returned to training normally in preparation for participating in the upcoming match.

The Uruguayan player is anticipating how the fans at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium will receive him after recent events, especially since Tchouaméni faced Real Oviedo in the last match amid some limited boos from the crowd when the starting lineup was announced, before the atmosphere calmed down during the game.

The newspaper added that Valverde had previously faced criticism from Real Madrid fans during the current season, especially after the dismissal of Xabi Alonso, amid talks of reservations within the locker room regarding some technical roles.

Real Madrid enters the match against Athletic Bilbao at the end of the season without any competitive goals, following a season marked by declining results and a lack of titles, in addition to the recent crisis that concluded with the club imposing fines on Valverde and Tchouaméni.
