Between 2016 and 2026, Manchester City imposed its dominance over English football, achieving success similar to what Manchester United achieved under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Guardiola managed to lead the team to win 6 Premier League titles, 3 FA Cups, and 5 League Cups, alongside winning the UEFA Champions League in the 2022-2023 season, then the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in the following season.

Guardiola also became the first manager in Premier League history to win the title 4 consecutive times, contributing to raising the club's trophy percentage since its founding in 1880 to 55%.

According to the 'AS' report, Guardiola's project at Manchester City began with a comprehensive team rebuild, which included significant changes in the lineup and signing prominent players, in addition to the departure of influential names like Joe Hart initially due to differences in playing style.

At the same time, the report noted that the club's journey was not without controversy, following investigations into financial accusations directed at Manchester City from a previous period, while the club denied all those accusations.
