Manchester United's Position on Signing Yane Diomande
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Manchester United has decided not to pay 100 million euros to sign winger Yann Diomande from Leipzig in the upcoming transfer market.
Romano explained on his YouTube channel that Manchester United informed those close to the player that they would not agree to pay this amount, despite their continued interest in signing the player.
He pointed out that the management of the English club is focusing its main investments on the midfield, which makes the idea of paying such a large amount to sign the winger currently off the table.
The report added that Yann Diomande, 19 years old, is attracting interest from several major clubs, including Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, who are in talks with his agency.
He also pointed out that RB Leipzig is asking for around 100 million euros to let go of the player, while Manchester United considers the amount to be excessive, especially after their significant spending on previous deals.
