Inter Prepares Carlos Augusto Deal to Secure Manu Koné Transfer

Inter Milan continues its strong moves to sign French midfielder Manu Koné during the summer transfer window, having prioritized him to strengthen the midfield for the upcoming season.

According to Italian reports, Inter's management is considering including Brazilian Carlos Augusto in the deal to reduce the financial amount requested by AS Roma to part with Kone.

Roma values the French midfielder at between 40 and 50 million euros, prompting Inter to look for alternative solutions to reduce costs, especially with the capital club's interest in signing Carlos Augusto to strengthen the left side.

The reports also indicated that the good relationship between the managements of the two clubs could facilitate the negotiations, at a time when Koné is considered one of the main targets requested by Inter's coaching staff due to his physical strength and significant ability to link defense and attack.

Although there is no official agreement yet, the idea of a swap deal has started to take on a serious tone within the corridors of the two clubs, with anticipation of new developments in the coming weeks.
