According to confirmed sources, the management of Al-Ettifaq has entered advanced negotiations with Portuguese coach Pedro Emanuel to take over the team's technical leadership, succeeding Saad Al-Shehri.

The sources clarified that the club's management has reached a near-final agreement with the Portuguese coach, paving the way for signing a contract that extends for two seasons in the coming period.

The move by Al-Ettifaq came after Pedro Emanuel's tenure with Al-Fayha ended, following the club's official announcement of his departure from his position at the conclusion of the current season.
