The Angolan Chico Banza, a star of Zamalek, expressed his happiness at his team winning the Egyptian Premier League title.

Chico Banza said in statements on "MBC Egypt" channel: "I am happy to be with Zamalek and happy for the fans. The season was extremely difficult and the moment of winning was decisive. On a personal level, I am happy for the fans. We overcame many challenges to win, whether in tough league matches or others."

He confirmed: "I love playing football, and it's natural for me to feel sad when I leave the field because I feel I haven't done my best to make the fans happy on the pitch. This might be the reason. For me, the coach knows my personality well. There is no problem with the coach of any kind, and everyone understands that I wish to give everything in the match. There might be a slight feeling of sadness, but that's normal for any player."

Regarding his toughest matches of the season, Chico Banza said: "The toughest match for me was against Zed. It was the game where I left the field to go to the bathroom. I wasn't happy, and there were some complications."

He added: "We didn't control the ball, and I was sad. I wished my performance had been better than what I delivered. When the match was stopped, I asked the fourth official to go to the restroom, and he agreed to my request. After returning, I learned what had happened."

He concluded: "Since I arrived at Zamalek, I am convinced that the team will win all the championships, and this is the opinion of the players. Zamalek is a prestigious team, and any tournament it joins is to win, and this is the main goal for us and all the players."
