Ceballos Will Not Be Able to Bid Farewell to Santiago Bernabéu Fans

The newspaper Marca revealed that Dani Ceballos will not have the opportunity to bid farewell to Real Madrid fans from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, as he has been left out of the squad for the match against Athletic Bilbao in the final round of the Spanish League.

According to the report, Real Madrid is preparing to bid farewell to some prominent names within the team, most notably Dani Carvajal, while the Spanish midfielder will not be able to appear in the team’s jersey for the last time in front of the fans.

The newspaper added that the player might only step onto the field after the final whistle along with the injured players, to greet the fans, in a scene that might represent the end of his journey with Real Madrid quietly away from the spotlight.

The report confirmed that the relationship between Ceballos and coach Álvaro Arbeloa reached a dead end in recent weeks, following internal disputes that escalated in late April, resulting in a complete breakdown between the two parties.

According to the source, Ceballos said in the locker room: 'I asked the coach for there to be no relationship between us,' and since then, the player has completely disappeared from the technical staff's plans.

The report pointed out that Ceballos, whose contract extends until the summer of 2027, has already started thinking about his future, as his crisis with Arbeloa seems to have accelerated his potential departure from the club during the upcoming summer transfer market.
