Friday 22-05-2026
Reports in Italy indicate that Manchester United and Atalanta have reached an agreement on the transfer value of Brazilian midfielder Ederson, in a deal that could be worth up to 53 million euros.

The 'Football Italia' website reported that negotiations between the two clubs have already concluded, and the player's permanent transfer is close to being finalized.

The report explained that Manchester United is prepared to pay 48 million euros as a fixed amount, in addition to 5 million euros in incentives, bringing the total deal to 53 million euros. Other reports suggested a different structure of 45 million euros plus 5 million euros in incentives, totaling 50 million euros.

If confirmed at these values, the deal would be one of the most notable sales in Atalanta's history, although the departure of Rasmus Højlund to Manchester United remains the largest in the Italian club's history, followed by Matteo Retegui's transfer to Al-Qadisiyah.

Ederson played 30 matches in Serie A this season, scoring two goals and providing an assist, in addition to a goal and an assist in 9 Champions League matches during the current season.

The player joined Atalanta four seasons ago from Salernitana in 2022.
