Hakimi Requests Dismissal of Rape Case
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, has filed a request to dismiss the case related to accusations of rape and sexual assault dating back to 2023, before the investigative chamber of the Court of Appeal.
RMC Sport radio reported that Hakimi attended a session on Friday before the investigation chamber at the Court of Appeal, where he is seeking to appeal the decision to refer him to the criminal court.
The radio reported that the player attended with his lawyer to strengthen his protest and personally assert his innocence, while he remained silent during the session.
The source added that the player's lawyer refused to make any comment, merely stating that she would not comment on the case.
The report indicated that all parties will later receive the final decision regarding the approval or cancellation of the previous investigating judge's decision.
