The U.S. Embassy sent a congratulatory message to Zamalek Club after it won the Egyptian Premier League title.
Zamalek won the league title yesterday, Wednesday, for the 15th time in its history.
The American embassy stated on its official Facebook page: "We are excited to see Egyptian talents shine on the world's biggest football stage when we host the Egyptian national football team in the United States during the World Cup!"
She added: "Congratulations to Zamalek Club on a fantastic season and winning the Egyptian Premier League title! With several Zamalek players in the national team, we're excited to see them continue with the same spirit and enthusiasm in America!"
