Amid Barcelona's Interest, Juventus Lowers Cambiaso's Selling Price

Reports in Italy suggest that Barcelona is considering making a move during the summer transfer window to sign the Italian international Andrea Cambiaso, given the reduced financial value Juventus is asking for compared to last year.

The website 'Football Italia' mentioned that Cambiaso is highly regarded by coach Hansi Flick due to his tactical flexibility and ability to play in multiple positions on the field, indicating that negotiations between Barcelona and Juventus may develop in the coming weeks.

Cambiaso, 26 years old, had attracted interest from Manchester City during the 2024/2025 season, with previous reports indicating that Juventus was demanding an amount close to 70 million euros at that time.

However, recent challenges confirm that Juventus management is now ready to listen to offers around 50 million euros, especially given the possibility of the team missing out on the Champions League next season, prompting the club to reassess its financial demands.

Cambiaso had renewed his contract with Juventus for five years at the end of the 2024/2025 season, earning a salary of approximately 2.5 million euros annually, with his contract continuing until June 2029.
