The coach of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann, officially announced today the final squad of 26 players to compete in the 2026 World Cup finals.

The squad witnessed a shocking surprise with the return of the veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (40 years old) from his international retirement to participate in the World Cup, in addition to calling up the young talent Lennart Karl.

Germany will compete in the 2026 World Cup finals in Group E, which includes alongside it the teams of Ivory Coast, Ecuador, and Curaçao.
