Dortmund Withdraws from Signing Sancho
The return of English winger Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund is heading towards a setback, amid the German club's declining interest in completing the deal during the upcoming transfer window.
According to 'CaughtOffside', Sancho, 26, is nearing the end of his loan to Aston Villa, but his form may lead him to seek a new club this summer.
The report indicated that Dortmund was interested in signing the player for the third time, but the club's management hesitated due to their reluctance to pay a fee for his transfer.
On the other hand, Manchester United might extend Sancho's contract by an additional year before selling him instead of letting him leave for free.
The report also highlighted internal concerns at Dortmund regarding the player's ability to regain his previous form, despite his brilliance during his initial stint with the German club.
It is noteworthy that Sancho is currently playing for Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United.
