Torup: My Contract Continues with Al-Ahly for Two Seasons

Al Ahly coach Yis Torop stated that his contract with the Red Club is still valid and extends for an additional two years, placing the decision regarding his final fate in the hands of the club's management.

Al Ahly secured a 2-0 victory over its counterpart Al Masry Al Port Said in the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider.

Al Ahly holds the third position in the championship group standings of the league with 53 points, following the conclusion of the tournament, which Zamalek won today, Wednesday.

In statements during the press conference after the match between Al Ahly and Al Masry, Torop said: "Thank you to the fans who continued to support us until the end. We achieved good results against strong teams and succeeded in securing our third consecutive victory, but we have not yet reached the desired goal."

He emphasized: "When I came to Al-Ahly, I believed in winning championships, and we started well by winning the Super Cup. However, the transfer period was not as expected, and a club of Al-Ahly's stature should make everyone feel disappointed when there is a failure."

He added, "My contract with Al Ahly still extends for two more seasons, and I have already sent my comprehensive plan for the preparation and readiness period for the new season to the club's management."
