Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Crowned Champions of the Iraqi Stars League

The Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya team clinched the Iraqi Stars League football title after a fruitful victory over their traditional rival, Al-Zawraa, with a score of 2-1 in the "Clasico" match held at the Al-Shaab International Stadium in the capital, Baghdad.

The match witnessed great excitement from the start, as Al-Zawraa team took an early lead with a goal scored by player Hiran Ahmed in the first half. The team maintained their lead amidst continuous offensive attempts by Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya to equalize the score.

In the final minutes of the match, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya intensified their pressure, allowing player Mohammed Jawad to score the equalizing goal. Then, in injury time, the same player returned to score the decisive winning goal for the "Hawks" team.

With this result, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya successfully secured the top position and officially clinched the Iraqi League shield two rounds before the end of the competition, benefiting from the stumble of their direct pursuer, Al-Shorta team, which suffered a 2-0 defeat against Erbil in the same round.
