Unai Emery Makes European History

Spanish Unai Emery is preparing to write a new chapter in his European history, as he stands on the brink of a rare historic achievement in the world of continental coaching.

According to European statistics, Emery will become only the second coach in history to lead four different clubs to major European finals, following Portuguese coach José Mourinho.

Emery previously led Sevilla, Arsenal, and Villarreal to European finals before achieving the same feat now with Aston Villa.

As for Mourinho, the only coach who preceded him in reaching this number, he achieved it with Porto, Inter Milan, Manchester United, and Roma.
