Mourinho Includes Hjulmand in His List of Interests at Real Madrid

Portuguese coach José Mourinho is close to returning to manage Real Madrid, as he has become the most likely candidate to take over the team's coaching role in the near future, following the withdrawal of several names that were linked to the position in recent weeks.

Radio "Cadena Cope" confirmed that Mourinho does not mind returning to Santiago Bernabéu, but he wishes to implement some conditions, foremost among them being the signing of Sporting Lisbon's Danish midfielder, Morten Hjulmand.

The Spanish radio explained that Mourinho knows the player well and sees him as an important addition to Real Madrid's midfield, especially since he has worked with him before. This has led him to prioritize the player's name in case he officially returns to the royal club.

Hjulmand is 26 years old and is under contract with Sporting Lisbon until June 2028. It is estimated that the Portuguese club will not agree to his departure for less than 50 million euros.

The same source also indicated that Mourinho is enthusiastic about the idea of returning to Real Madrid after his previous experience with the team between 2010 and 2013. Meanwhile, many media outlets are treating his return as just a matter of time, despite no official announcement being made yet.

This coincides with the upcoming elections within Real Madrid, after Florentino Perez called for them during a press conference held a few days ago, amid expectations that he will continue to lead the club's management in the coming period.
