De Zerbi: We Played a Very Good Match, and We Will Fight to Stay Until the End

Roberto De Zerbi, the coach of Tottenham, confirmed that his team performed well despite the 2-1 defeat against Chelsea in the match that took place between them as part of the 37th round of the English Premier League.

De Zerbi said: "We created the first chance to score through Mathias Tel, and it was a great save by Robert Sanchez, then we conceded a brilliant goal because Enzo Fernandez is a great player, I think we could have done something better."

He added: "We stayed in the match until the second goal, we lost a silly ball and conceded a goal, but before that, we created a big chance through Richarlison."

The Tottenham coach continued: "I think we played a good match, a very good match, we lost, but we don't have time now to think much about this match."

Regarding the struggle to stay in the last round of the Premier League, De Zerbi said: "We will play at our home and among our fans, and we must go for the three points with quality, character, pride, and courage."

He continued: "I am positive because we played a good match today."

Regarding the fitness of Maddison, he said: "Maddison cannot play for more than 20 or 25 minutes because he only returned to us two or three weeks ago."

About Tottenham's mentality, he added: "Our reaction was great after the first goal and after the second goal as well."
