Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of Egypt's national football team, confirmed that the "Pharaohs" are ready to face any upcoming challenges, emphasizing that the team enters all tournaments with the sole aim of achieving victory and raising Egypt's name high in international forums.

Ibrahim Hassan's statements came following the draw for the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which resulted in Egypt being placed in Group B alongside Angola, Malawi, and South Sudan.

The national team manager said through the official website of the Football Association: "The Africa Cup draw? The Egyptian team is ready for any upcoming challenges, and we always play to win and raise Egypt's name high in all international forums."

Ibrahim Hassan added that African football has witnessed significant development in recent years, emphasizing that there are no longer any easy or small teams on the continent, which requires the highest levels of readiness and focus.

He clarified, "We will do our utmost to achieve the best possible results in the upcoming phase."

He concluded his statements by emphasizing that the coaching staff is currently focused on the 2026 World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19. He noted that the team is in Group G alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
