Conte Decides to Leave Napoli.. Sarri is the Leading Candidate to Succeed Him

Italian coach Antonio Conte has decided to leave Napoli at the end of the current season, according to journalist Guillaume Pacchini.

According to the same source, Conte agreed to forgo his entire salary for the last season, in addition to any financial compensation owed to him, which is estimated to total around 18 million euros, in order to terminate his association with the club completely.

On the other hand, the Napoli management has started to search for a new coach to lead the team in the upcoming phase, placing Maurizio Sarri at the top of the list of candidates to succeed Conte.

Sarri previously managed Napoli between 2015 and 2018, and during that period, he succeeded in delivering impressive performances that made the team one of the top contenders in the Italian league.
