The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" confirmed in an interview with the player that Lautaro has made his position clear, emphasizing his desire to continue with the Italian club he has been associated with since 2018.

Lautaro Martinez's statements were as follows: "Without a doubt, I would like that. My family and I are happy; we even have a restaurant, and the kids go to school and have their friends. Today, it's hard to imagine myself elsewhere. In football, no one knows, but if they don't kick me out, I'll stay here."

The Argentine player added: "I don't even know how many goals I've scored; it's not something I track or focus on."

He continued his speech: "It would be great to reach advanced positions on the list of historical top scorers, because Meazza represents the history of Inter and Milan. I believe I can achieve that."

He explained: "Without a doubt, these are the best moments of my career. I feel very happy and confident while playing, and I move easily even from a tactical standpoint, which wasn't the case before."
