Brazil's national team coach Carlo Ancelotti announced the squad list for the 2026 World Cup, which includes 26 players, during a press conference held by the Brazilian Football Confederation.

The announced squad features Santos star Neymar Junior, while it also sees the absence of several players, most notably Igor Jesus, João Pedro, Andreas Pereira, Thiago Silva, Gerson, Vitinho, Hugo Souza, Antony, Richarlison.

Ancelotti confirmed during the conference that the selection process was extremely difficult, given the presence of many Brazilian names worthy of participating in this tournament, while emphasizing that the Seleção has the ability to strongly compete for the prestigious title.

The squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Ederson, Weverton.

Defense: Alex Sandro, Bremer, Danilo, Douglas Santos, Gabriel Magalhães, Ibañez, Leo Pereira, Marquinhos, Wesley.
