Antonio Rüdiger has resolved his future with Real Madrid after agreeing to renew his contract with the royal club for an additional season, allowing the German defender to continue with the team in the upcoming phase, according to the Spanish newspaper 'AS'.

The German defender was hoping to secure a two-season contract before understanding Real Madrid's policy regarding the renewal of contracts for players with significant experience, ultimately agreeing to continue for an additional year with the white team.

This season saw Rüdiger suffering from several physical issues that affected his readiness, as he was forced to undergo surgery due to long-standing pains. The Spanish newspaper explained that the treatment journey he underwent following a medical visit to London helped him overcome these issues, which was reflected in his performance in the last matches of the season.

Since joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2022, Rüdiger has gradually secured his place in the starting lineup, becoming one of the most important elements of the backline under Carlo Ancelotti, despite having to play at various times while suffering from knee injuries, especially during the last season.

The same source added that the player received numerous offers in recent years, including a strong offer from the Saudi league, but he preferred to continue his journey with Real Madrid, believing in his ability to achieve more with the royal club's jersey.
