Real Madrid announced on its official website that it has reached an agreement with its captain Dani Carvajal to end his journey as a player with the team at the end of the current season, marking the conclusion of a long career with the club.

The club expressed in its official statement its gratitude and appreciation for one of its legends in world football, noting that Carvajal is among only five players in the history of the game to have won 6 Champions League titles, and was part of a golden era in Real Madrid's history.

Carvajal joined Real Madrid in 2002 and represented the club for 23 seasons, including 10 seasons in the youth categories and 13 seasons with the first team, during which he achieved 27 titles, including 6 Champions League titles, 6 Club World Cups, 5 European Super Cups, 4 Spanish League titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles, and 4 Spanish Super Cups.

Carvajal played 450 matches in the Real Madrid jersey, scoring 14 goals, while he participated in 51 matches with the Spanish national team, winning the Euro 2024 and the 2023 UEFA Nations League with them.
