Dortmund Sets Alternative Plan in Case Gonzalo Garcia Deal Fails
Borussia Dortmund is working on an alternative plan in case the deal to sign Gonzalo Garcia, the Real Madrid striker who is their primary target to strengthen the attack line, fails, according to 'Fichajes'.
The German club is seeking to sign the player due to his great capabilities, but they consider the financial value set by Real Madrid at around 60 million euros to be high, while Dortmund prefers an offer not exceeding 30 million euros.
In case the deal fails, Dortmund has set an alternative option which involves signing Carlos Espi, the Levante striker, who has scored 11 goals this season and has a release clause of 25 million euros.
Gonzalo Garcia remains Dortmund's primary target, with continued consideration of alternatives in case negotiations falter during the summer.
