Liverpool Sets Sale Price for Chiesa

Liverpool has set the financial value required to agree to the departure of its Italian player Federico Chiesa during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid increasing speculation about his exit from the English team.

Chiesa is not part of the core plans of coach Arne Slot for the current season, which has brought the player close to leaving Liverpool and returning to the Italian league competitions.

According to the Italian newspaper "Calcio Mercato," Liverpool's management has set a price of 25 million euros to agree to sell the player next summer.

The newspaper added that Juventus and Napoli are monitoring the player's situation in preparation for entering into official negotiations to sign him.

Chiesa played 36 matches with Liverpool during the current season, but most of his appearances were as a substitute, with only 726 minutes played across various competitions.

The Italian player managed to contribute to six goals for the team this season, having scored three goals and provided three assists.

Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus in the summer of 2024 for around 12 million euros, with his contract with the Reds extending until the summer of 2028.
