Youth Turns the Tables on Al-Ittihad and Halts Their Asian Qualification

The Youth team caused a strong surprise after defeating Al-Ittihad with a score of 3-2, in an exciting match as part of the postponed meeting from the 28th round of the Saudi Roshen League.

The match started with an exchange of offensive play, as both teams tried to snatch an early goal, amidst dangerous opportunities and notable performances from the goalkeepers in saving the shots.

At the beginning of the second half, Ali Al-Bulaihi managed to open the scoring for Youth in the 54th minute, before Haroun Kamara quickly reinforced the lead with a second goal five minutes later.

Al-Ittihad returned to the atmosphere of the match through Houssem Aouar in the 67th minute, igniting the confrontation and giving his team hope for a comeback.

But Yannick Carrasco ended Al-Ittihad's hopes with a third goal in the 87th minute, before Danilo Pereira reduced the deficit in injury time without changing the outcome.

With this loss, Al-Ittihad's tally stopped at 55 points in fifth place, delaying the decision on qualifying for the Asian Champions League for the elite.

On the other hand, Youth raised their tally to 35 points, advancing to 13th place, after achieving an important morale-boosting victory at the end of their season journey.
