Ahmed Fattouh, the left-back for Zamalek Club, sustained a hamstring strain during his team's match against USM Alger, in the game held on Saturday evening at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final, according to a press report.

The report clarified that the player felt pain in his hamstring during the second half, prompting the coaching staff to immediately substitute him with Ahmed Abdel Rahim "Eisho" to ensure his safety.

He added that Fattouh will undergo tests and a treatment and rehabilitation program in the coming period to prepare him for the upcoming matches, most notably the encounter against Ceramica Cleopatra in the Premier League competition.
