Allegri: We Were Threatened with Losing Everything We Built, and I'm Happy to Work with Modric

Massimiliano Allegri, the head coach of AC Milan, confirmed that his team faced significant pressure during the match against Genoa, noting that Milan was close to losing everything they achieved this season before winning 2-1 in Serie A.

Allegri said: 'There was a lot of pressure, and we were threatened with wasting everything we built this year.'

He added: 'We haven't achieved anything yet, there is still another match at home against Cagliari, and we hope to secure our goal during it.'

The Milan coach continued his statements by saying: 'I must thank the players and everyone who works alongside me and endures me, there's only one week left before securing the goal.'

Regarding the atmosphere of the match, he said: 'The jacket stayed on my shoulders because I was so engrossed in the game.'

He added: 'We did well in injury time and prevented Genoa from approaching, and we had the opportunity to score a third goal through Pulisic.'

Allegri also spoke about the team's declining results at San Siro, saying: 'We hope to achieve victory at home, especially since we have only collected one point in the last three matches at San Siro.'
