The media personality Ahmed Shobeir confirmed that Zamalek's performance against Algeria's USM Alger in the second leg of the Confederation Cup final yesterday was not good, pointing out that the white team was affected by the absence of Mahmoud Bentayk from the match.

Shobeir stated in a radio broadcast on "On Sport FM" that Zamalek performed better during the first leg in Algeria compared to the second leg in Cairo.

He pointed out that the absence of Bentayg after being sent off in the previous match significantly affected the team's form, especially given his reliance as one of the most influential players in recent times.

Shobeir explained that Zamalek is facing severe off-field crises related to a registration ban due to international cases, necessitating urgent action to resolve them before the deadline of May 31st.

Shobeir defended the coach Moatamed Gamal, asserting that the numerous injuries and absences placed the team in difficult circumstances that negatively impacted their recent technical performance.
