The Spanish coach posted on his official account on the platform X a news article from the Spanish newspaper "Marca" titled: "Xabi Alonso is about to become Chelsea's coach."
According to the reliable journalist David Ornstein, the agreement between Chelsea and Xabi Alonso has already been completed for him to take over coaching the team starting next season.
Ornstein added that the 44-year-old Spanish coach visited London last week and agreed to the offer from the London club, with a four-year contract agreed upon, and the official announcement is expected soon.
