Amr Adib Comments on Zamalek's Loss of the Confederation Cup
The famous media personality Amr Adib commented on Zamalek's loss of the CAF Confederation Cup title.
Zamalek lost on penalties to Algeria's USM Alger in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup at Cairo Stadium.
Adib said on the "Al-Hekaya" program on MBC Egypt that Zamalek was on the verge of winning the title but failed, adding that Zamalek is an unlucky club.
He emphasized: "We didn't put in the necessary effort; we were just one step away, not two. With Zamalek, football is like this: one day you lose, and another day you lose."
He pointed out that the attackers are under constant pressure, while the defense is merely clearing the ball away, putting the team in a difficult position against the repeated Algerian attacks.
He emphasized that the opportunity was very close, but the team lacked success in the final match.
