Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool FC, expressed his anger after his team's loss to Aston Villa in the English Premier League, delivering a strongly-worded message calling for the restoration of the team's attacking identity and a return to the path of championships.

Liverpool lost to their host Aston Villa with a score of four goals to two, in the match that took place on Friday evening at Villa Park, as part of the 37th round of the English Premier League.

Mohamed Salah wrote on his official account on the "X" platform: "I have witnessed this club transition from doubt to belief, and from belief to championship."

The captain of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star added: "It took a lot of effort, and I always did my utmost to help the club reach this stage. Nothing makes me prouder than that."

He continued: "Our collapse in the face of another defeat this season was extremely painful and undeserved by our fans. I want to see Liverpool return to its former glory as a strong attacking team that intimidates opponents and goes back to being a title-winning team."

And he continued: "This is the football I know how to play, and this is the identity that must be restored and preserved forever, with no room for negotiation. Anyone who joins this club must adapt to it."

He continued: "Winning some matches here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win matches. Liverpool will always be a club that means a lot to me and my family. I want to see it succeed long after I leave."

He concluded his statements by saying: "As I have always said, qualifying for the Champions League next season is the minimum goal, and I will do everything in my power to achieve that."

Liverpool, which is aiming to qualify for the Champions League next season, is in fifth place in the English Premier League standings with 59 points.
