Ratcliffe's Position on Carrick Continuing to Coach Manchester United

Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his official account on the "X" platform that coach Michael Carrick will continue in his position as the permanent manager of Manchester United, in a decision that has been definitively confirmed within the club.

Romano clarified that the direction within the club has been clear for weeks, as the plan was also approved by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, with preparations underway to sign a new contract in the coming period.

According to the source, the contract will extend for two years with an option to extend or potentially reach three years directly. There are no doubts within the club regarding the decision, as Carrick has fully agreed to continue and will sign the contract soon.

Carrick took over the coaching duties of the Red Devils following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim due to poor results. Since then, Carrick has delivered positive results with the team and has also led them to qualify for the Champions League.
