The journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed the truth about Al-Ahly reaching an agreement with coach Jes Thorup to terminate the contract with the Red Castle.
Hassan stated on his Facebook page: "Source: So far, there is no official agreement between Al Ahly and Torop to terminate the contract as rumored, but Al Ahly intends to give the coach 6 months, and if he refuses, they will wait until the end of June and then give him only 3 months."
Al Ahly is currently preparing to face its counterpart Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi on Wednesday, May 20th, in the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.
Al Ahly holds the third position in the league standings of the championship group with 50 points.
