Amid ongoing communications between the different parties, Barcelona is aware of the serious interest from Unai Emery, who previously coached Rashford for half a season during his loan period to Aston Villa, while the player is keen on continuing at Spotify Camp Nou either through purchasing his contract or extending the loan.

Rashford shows a clear desire to stay with Barcelona, as previously confirmed by the Spanish newspaper, considering that he has done enough to convince the club to continue relying on him. Reports from Germany indicate that he has received approval from coach Hans Flick, while Aston Villa remains in the race to qualify for the Champions League.
