Approaching Departure of Torup from Al-Ahly
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed that Jes Torup, the head coach of Al-Ahly, is close to leaving his position.
Shobeir confirmed the arrival of the coach's agent in Cairo and the start of friendly discussions with Torop to determine his future, without meeting with the club's management so far.
He explained that there is a mutual understanding between both parties about the difficulty of continuing the experience, as the coach believes that the season was challenging, while Al Ahly is inclined to thank him due to not achieving the expected results.
Shobeir said that a resolution is imminent through an amicable agreement, with a final agreement to be reached after the match against Al-Masry, ensuring that the coach receives his financial dues according to the penalty clause.
Shobeir continued: "I expect that after the match with Al-Masry, there will be an amicable agreement where the coach receives appropriate compensation as represented by the penalty clause. They are very close to reaching an agreement to end the matter amicably, in a good manner and with a good relationship."
