Neom Pursues Al Ahly's Midfielder Star in Summer

Special sources revealed to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Wiam" that Neom Club has strongly entered the race to sign Imam Ashour, the Egyptian Al-Ahly player, in preparation for bringing him in during the upcoming transfer window.

The information indicated that the player is considered a primary target for the Neom management, which seeks to strengthen its ranks with outstanding elements as part of a plan to support the team before the start of the new season.

The sources indicated that the stumbling of negotiations to renew Ashour's contract with Al Ahly might open the door for his departure, especially amid financial disagreements between the two parties regarding the extension terms.

She added that the offer from NEOM is not the only one from the Roshn League, as the player has received another offer, which intensifies the competition to sign him in the upcoming period.

On the other hand, Al Ahly club insists on keeping the player in its ranks due to his influential role technically and the coaching staff's desire to maintain the team's stability.
